Executive Reporting
The dashboards that get screenshotted into board decks. Rivaro ships executive-tier views built from your live detection, governance, and cost data — no separate BI tool required.
Where to find it in the app
Executive reporting is split across two surfaces:
| Surface | Where | What's here |
|---|---|---|
| Operations rollup | Dashboard → Command Center (sidebar's first item) | The "what's happening this week" dashboard. Real-time, broad. |
| Board-tier views | Dashboard → Executive View | Board sub-tab (governance score + pillars) and Reports sub-tab (narrative value, guardrail, and cost reports) |
Both pages are designed to be screenshotted into a slide deck unmodified. The Executive View tab is where you'd send a CFO, CISO, or audit committee.
The Executive Board panel deep-links into a per-pillar Governance Investigation drill-down with recommended actions — clicking a pillar opens a side drawer with concrete steps to raise the score.
Command Center
The "what's the shape of our agent estate" dashboard. Opens by default when you log in.
The Command Center panels:
| Panel | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Estate health score | Composite indicator with status badge |
| Action queue | Items waiting for attention (pending approvals, open incidents, freezes that need review) |
| Actors at risk | Top 5 violating actors with trust scores and recent activity |
| Cost intelligence | Total spend, week-over-week delta, top cost contributors |
| Enforcement breakdown | Detection volume by decision (ALLOW / BLOCK / DEFER / REDACT / STEP_UP) over the last 24h, 7d, 30d |
| Recent violations | Latest incidents and detections, severity-coded |
| Access surface | Aggregate access map across the agent estate |
| Changelog | Recent governance actions (quarantines, terminations, freezes, owner changes) |
Each panel deep-links into the relevant detailed tab — click "Actors at risk" and you land on the Agent Registry filtered to the right slice; click "Action queue" and you land on Actions & Evidence → Pending Approvals.
Use the Command Center as the homepage for security operations or platform teams.
Executive View → Board
The compressed view designed for monthly or quarterly board reporting.
The Board panel shows the Governance Score prominently at the top — a composite score (0–100) across the governance pillars. Below the headline score:
- Per-pillar breakdown — sub-scores for each pillar with trend arrows
- Recommended actions — concrete, specific changes that would raise the score
- Enforcement evidence — the activity that drove the score this period
The shape of this view is stable across releases so you can re-use the same slide template every quarter.
Governance pillars
The score is computed across these pillars (visible on the Board panel and drillable):
| Pillar | Measures |
|---|---|
| Inventory | What fraction of agents are registered, owned, and have approved assets? |
| Authority | What fraction of agents have envelopes configured, with appropriate autonomy tiers? |
| Activity | Are detections / enforcement actions happening, and at expected rates? |
| Accountability | What's the median time from incident creation to investigation / resolution? Are governance actions reviewed? |
(Older versions of the score also surfaced Identity, Policy Coverage, Detection Health, Incident Discipline, and Compliance Posture as separate pillars. The current view rolls these up into the four above; the same underlying metrics drive both.)
Pillar drill-down
Click any pillar to open the Governance Investigation drawer. The drawer shows:
- Current sub-scores within the pillar
- A list of recommended actions — each tagged with its score impact ("+8 to Authority")
- An action drawer that, where the action is automatable, has a one-click apply button
This turns the governance score from a number-staring exercise into a backlog: "do these five things and your score goes from 72 to 84."
Executive View → Reports
The Reports sub-tab has narrative-style reports designed to be printed or attached to board materials. The reports refresh in place; click any report to expand it.
Value Reports
| Report | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Value Report | Total enforcement actions, value protected (e.g. estimated cost of attacks blocked), trend vs prior period |
| Guardrail Summary | Detection rates by guardrail family, action breakdown (BLOCK / LOG / REDACT / STEP_UP), suppression rate, top false positives, coverage gaps |
| Cost Overview | Total spend, breakdown by model / provider / agent / business unit, budget utilization, outliers, projected month-end spend |
What the Guardrail Summary is for
The point of the Guardrail Summary is to expose theater — guardrails that fire but never produce a meaningful action are theater. Guardrails with a 0% block rate are theater. Guardrails with a 95% suppression rate are theater. The report surfaces them so you can tune the policy.
What the Cost Overview is for
A narrative version of the data you get from the Budgets page. Use this for board reporting; use Budgets for day-to-day policy tuning. The same data is exportable as CSV from Administration → Budgets → Export costs.
Exporting for slide decks
Every panel on the Board and every report in Reports has an export action:
- Copy as image — produces a PNG sized for a 16:9 slide
- Download JSON — for further analysis or embedding in your own dashboards
- Print — opens the browser print view formatted for letter / A4
The shape of the JSON is stable so you can wire it into a GRC platform tile (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) or your own internal portal.
